I had the same problem on my ih 300 utility. I just split the carb and flushed the float valve with carb cleaner and it stop sticking. I could tell it was sticking because when i lifted and let the float go, the actuator would be delayed in following the movement of the float. Only problem now is my carb gasket leaks a hair, but i shut the fuel valave off after im done, so no biggie. I might get around to getting a new gasket, but for now more important things need tending to.
