James: You probably should follow up with steelfronts. Slat bottom plows are not plentiful. The frog for them is different from the regular GP bottom. You can still buy most wear parts new, but I don't think there is a supply of frogs new anywhere. I have a plow parts book on these various bottoms, however I expect you can find the numbers on the back of each part. Add to that, I think there were two different slat bottoms over the years. I know there are two shown in my book, I've never tried to cross reference them to see how close they are. I did have some e mail with a guy awhile back, he was wanting to change his plow from slat to regular GP bottoms. From that I know the frog is different.
