Seems I have a habit of hijacking threads, but this is related and I dont feel important enough for a separate thread. My throttle has very little actual throttle control. of the nearly 90 degrees of movement, only about 10 degrees actually adjust the throttle and it seems all or none. now i have just fixed a stuck float on the carb and cleaned the gunk out, and havent tried it yet. Would it be a good idea to pull the govenor plate off, and what can I expect? I dont want things falling into places I cant retrieve them, or new gaskets ending up costing me a fortune.
