1) I wouldn't convert from 12 volt to 6 volt until I had finished restoring the H. That would be one of the last things I would do. 2) The Ebay generator would probably be one expensive generator. It's sold as is. Meaning you could spend almost as much having it repaired as you could purchase a rebuilt generator for. You will need a regulator for the generator and that is an other $55- or more dollars - even though the ebay generator shows a cutout or regulator.
