12v to 6v switch. What parts?

Part of my restoration plans for my H is to switch it from the amature 12v conversion that has been done back to an original 6v system. What components will I need to buy for the 6v system? I found this generator on Ebay, and I am pretty sure I will need a generator, since there is an alternator on there now. Or could the generator be on there along with the alternator?
