I think most of the other replies are off the mark. I understand that you want to pull back on the lever to raise loader but the ports are set up so you need to push forward.

Put the selector back to "D". If you are still plumbed so that pulling back raises the loader, run the other port back to reservoir. If there is no open port with a pipe plug on the reservoir, put a "T" on the low pressure line that feeds the pump. You will save money by teeing at the reservoir.
