About 2 months ago the generator went out on our W6 and it stopped charging. We just got the generator back this last week and figured we would put it on to try it. The tractor wouldn't start, so we resorted to pulling it with the M. In 5th gear it still wouldn't start, so we tried 4th and it finally fired and ran. For whatever reason it seems to backfire a bit and isn't as smooth as before it sat for 2 months. What is odd is that when you try to start it using normal means, it will not fire even once at any choke setting. Even if you try to start it after it was just shut off and was at operating temperature, it will not attempt to fire. The plugs all seem okay. There is fuel in the carburetor and it is making it to the cylinders as you can smell a small amount of it from the exhaust after attempting to start it. Any ideas? Thanks Chad
