Rick, I think Bob and myself are the 424's biggest fans,maybe we're the only ones on here that have one,don't know.. they really are a great little tractor though,mine is a gasser,pulls 6' brush hog with ease..mine has factory power steering too.. check for water in the oil like Bob said,then show us pics if you buy it.. Bob,does yours have a set of remotes on it? I'd love to see a pic of how those are hooked in if you ever get a chance..thats the one thing mine really needs.. Tim
