Right now its tarped down and that is the most cover its had in about 10 years, it did not have a rain cap or a can on the exhuast and someone had taken the sparkplugs out, hence even more moisture could get in. Don't really have a warm place to work and we are having some winter weather. Cleaned out the crank case, no loose parts, everything seems in place. Vinegar? Well, an old mechanic that had a AC dealership used it and a friend used it, only thing it didn't work on was an aluminum blocked Deere. Vinegar didn't seem to phase it so I will try a few other lubricants. I haven't tried putting it in gear and pulling it, afraid I might bust something. I'd rather tear it down than tear it up. Its just a project with no dead lines, something to relax and tinker with. I didn't tell you,it is a SMTA, so the TA may need some work too. First things first. Ever made a dolly for the front end of a tricyle tractor?
