You've been so very helpful. Thanks a lot for all your trouble. I'm going to use the old snap ring or a replacement the same size. Now I know what shaft I'm looking for too, which was a big concern since I didn't want to use the 2.5 inch adapter/spacer that came with the unit I bought. When mounted with the shorter shaft on the TD340 crawler, it's not needed.
