Last January my son nearly died and spent two weeks in the hospital - over a week of that in the PICU. This happened after he had two months of ever increasing health problems. Our family doctor that checked in on our son In addition to his specialist) commented two days in row how I didn't look that good. I took a break and went down stairs to get checked out - on that particular day I was 170/120. They checked it two days later and it was about the same. I told the doctor I'd take care of it but we had more important things to deal with at the moment. I kept checking it at the local grocery store and found that it was steadily decreasing while my son's health also improved. In March I finally went back to see the doctor and it was 150/100 - fair but not that good. I have kept tabs on it and it has continued to get a little better last month it was down to 140/90 - slightly elivated but good enough for a desk bound pencil pusher. I'm 38.
