Will a 1957 350 starter fit an H?

I have a 1947 Farmall H. It gets started and used as a chore tractor here on the farm about every day.

Two years ago it was converted to 12 volt, which allowed it to actully start in the winter.

Recently, however since being converted to 12 volt it is chewing up starter drives and flywheel ring gears about one or twice a year.

Does anyone know if a 1957 350 factory 12v gas starter will fit on an H? This would solve my problem if it did.
