Well, I decided I had to get that MCV replaced so I took it back to them. Now they trouble shooted and tested the pump on it and told me that was alright, and they charged me $155 to do the test, well now that they have torn it apart, they now tell me the pump is also bad along with the MCV, a new pump they said is $600-$800, but if they put in the new style pump thats replaced the orginal as the original style isn't availible anymore, they would have to go with a different MCV which he said was 3X the money, well, 3X the money would be $4,800 for the MCV!. So the original estimate was for a maximum of $2,500, now it is something to the tune of $5,700 for all new parts!!!!!!!!!, so they are going to try to locate a used pump from a salvage tractor so they can install the old style MCV that they have in stock. I think this tractor has turned into a money pit!, and it don't have 4wd either which I would really like.
