Upgrading H and M engines

There has been some posts lately about upgrading H and M engines to super H and M engines. I'm wondering what is different on some of the mentioned parts. Things I'm wondering about include: Manifold, head - I'm assuming a super head gives more compression, and cam shaft - I thought these were just heavier shafts to handle a hydraulic pump. I'm thinking about removing the head on my M next year as I have a small fluid leak and its possible I may do a couple of things to get a bit more horse power.
