OK I'm really going to show my ignorance with this question but I've got to ask... I have a 51 H that runs and looks really good (newer not restored paint, bad tires, starts in freezing weather with a 6 volt). When I start my H what exactly is recharging the battery, if at all? Should I periodically run it for a time this winter to keep the battery charged? I know enough not to hook a charger to the battery like you would a car (positive goes on a bolt- negative goes behind the starter button right?) Waiting for my operators manual. Father in law is coming over this weekend to help drain and refill radiator and I don't want to look too dumb. Thanks for yor help.
