You don't ALWAYS have to dish the inside wheels in. Dad had a set of M&W duals for the M, SM-TA, & 450 that the steel disc wheels had more offset and the hubs & steel disc wheels could still be mounted OUTSIDE the normal cast center wheels when dished out. And none of those tractors had the long axle option. The center discs were welded onto the very edge of the flat base of the rim.
