I don't know how to say this nicely, ups sucks. Thats the best I can do. I had a 24" Browning Sheave delivered the same way. The people they hire have no respect at all for what they are handling, other peoples property. That 100.00 insurance is a joke, as you say, "not packed well enough" thats their reply. My new gas tank came for my truck a few months ago, falling out of the ripped up box. I can't believe it didn't leak, they just beat the crap out of everything.
