Not special, very common in vegetable growing areas, we had one. We planted vegetables in 20 inch rows, requiring a 9 inch tire tread, although you could get by with 10 inch. On a relatively heavy tractor like the H (as compared to our other cultivating tractor,(a B), that causes compaction, so we used the narrow steel for cultivation, switched to 11-38 rubber for tillage, when cultivation season was over.
