I meant they were nothing special to us as they were common. IH does call some things "special" for some reason, perhaps because they weren't needed in all farm areas. They wouldn't have sold many outside the vegetable growing areas, unless someone comes up with another purpose. Steel wheels are rough on hard surfaces, they aren't even noticeable on tilled soil. You were limited to 4th gear because they won't even turn in 5th, because it was direct drive -- 5th was not locked out on our tractor because it came on rubber.
