Hi , I'm one of those people that thinks that if something is remotely fixable it should be saved and fixed in it's entirety . That said , these people on ebay that part out a perfectly running tractor ( in their own words ) so they can maximize profits just irritates me to no end . I know it's true that tractors can bring more money as parts than as a running tractor but this is , in MHO , just unconscionable . It almost falls into the category of killing healthy poor people to harvest there organs 8'[ . Same old gripe - They don't build these things anymore so each one torn down and parted out is one more that we won't be able to enjoy in the future . There's more than enough tractors that ARE junk laying around in back lots that just need to be found . The problem is that even though I don't like the practice I would probably buy the parts , I'm such a hypocrite ! Just because I know they'd probably be better quality . I guess it boils down to that I don't like money hungry people . I know collectors will find offense here because I've heard the argument about how it'll bring the price of a carefully restored tractor up into the range that would maybe net some positive returns in their investment . The thing is if you enjoyed restoring the tractor that's your payback ! No one in there right mind would restore anything motorized to make a profit from it , that just doesn't happen on a regular basis . But I suppose I'm preaching to the choir . I feel better now ! ...Randy

He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction,
