over heating 884

got ih 884 out of junk row. striped tin. pulled exhaust manifold and water came out, pulled injectors and turned over by hand and rachet, got all water out of one one cylinder holding water. installed injectors and started,ran bad for 5 min. sten ran strong and sounded good. drove around to check out and ran for two hours or more. fixed hole in radiator and had cleaned.installed new temp guage ,new thermostat added coolet now over heats in twenty min.s reads 230 and pushes coolent out over flow. sorry so long but what could be happening that i have missed????????? joe-etx
