Mark, I think grinding ear corn is what takes power as my dad used to grind it for the cattle and it made the Super H lug down. Just grinding shelled corn with a 1/2 inch screen would seem to be easy (would be harder with 1/4 inch screen). I have an old Wards hammermill that is only a 10 inch. I only use it now to grind tree leaves which takes almost no power with my Super H. I adapted it to run off the PTO. I don't know who made those hammermills for Wards, but I have always been curious about that also. Roger
