if its neer the front it could be the timing cover gasket leak'in BTDT. Cork needs nuttin but a good flat surface to seal to. I do put a very thin coat of silicon on the timing cover gaskets on both sides and sum times no gasket at all just good automotive silicon. Back to the cork enny were their izz a joint you will need just a dab of silicon to seal the joint.
