There is a soft plug behind the timing cover plate on the front of the engine. They are known to rot out. Bad thing is, you have to tear the whole front of the motor to get to it. I usually take the oil pan off, lay a piece of cardboard under the motor, make sure it's full of antifreeze, if it drips from the very front it's that soft plug. But, also could be the head.
