Currently working on the steering mechanism on my Super A restoration project. It's got a 3/4 turn in the steering either way before it starts to actually turn the wheels. Taking it apart I found that the key way for the woodruff key on the shaft is very worn out. But the actual steering arm is more interesting! Also, the cap for the steering shaft had been giving me problems. Couldn't get it to budge. I brought the whole housing down to a mechanic friend of mine with visions of giving it the heat treatment. He unscrewed it with his fingers. All I could muster was a stupid blank look. Must have been the PBlaster I had squirted it with a month an a half ago.
