that sucks! a thought i had bad luck when i fell asleep with my laptop last night i woke up this morning and 5 of my keys were missing off the key board! i had to find ALL the clips AND ALL the keys!!!! It took me around an hour to find all the pieces and another hour and a half figuring out how the hell they went back toghether again! i guess that why they say $hit happens! I never have put a generator on before with out having the valve cover on. it is hard enough to get the cover on and off with eveything clear! i dont even know if i could get the cover on with my alternator on. you should be able to get it. good luck. where there is a WILL there IS a WAY!
