http://www.repairmanual.com/tractors/7/480 484 is diesel right? If so its surely the glow plug warmer. My 2500B is like that. You warm the plugs about 15 seconds, push the fuel pump lever to on, then crank her over and she pops right off. I did enjoy the starting fluid joke however, must remember that one!
