starter switch re: previous post

It does show it coming down at an angle so the foot pedal comes in contact correctly. This is listed as for an Super M or MV. This is the one http://www.ytmag.com//store/product_files/9N11450A_4518.htm
listed for an M which will not work on mine. My serial number shows it being an M but could it be a Super? I suppose it is more likely someone may have changed the hardware sometime.
