It did not fit!

While rebuilding a carb for my H, I sorted through the box where I had several bodies and picked out the best one and then rebuilt it. The new manifold came in and I prepared it and installed it. So, it was time to put the carb on. I did, and got the govenor thingie properly inserted into the carb. And, then, low and behold, the pipe or whatever it is called, that runs from the govenor body to the carb did not match up at the carb. The holes were different and it would not line up. So now what...back to the junk box and found another govenor, removed the item from it, and after an hour, had the one on the tractor removed and the other one installed. I never dreamed that there would be a variation in this attachment.
