I took a Zenith carb off a Super C and tried to put it on another, and it wouldn't fit. I wondered what in the world is going on. I measured and the manifold and that carb had 1/8 of difference in the mounting holes. I then remembered the carb was mounted with smaller bolts with nuts on them. I checked the part number and turned out that carb was for a Allis Chalmers and had been rigged to work on the Super C. I don't have an Allis, but have a carb for one.
