Changing 6 volt generator from ccw to cw rotation

I have recently been rebuilding my 6 volt generator. Renewed field winding covers, brushes and bearings but when i assembled it i found that it turned ccw but as everybody can tell me farmall 100/a/av so on turn cw from pully end. Is there some way of identifying the type of fields i have as i have seen them listed CCW or CW and change mine to type i need?
