1066 spindles

Hi, my 1066 has sloppy steering due mainly to wore spindle to steering arm splines. I tried the undersized arms, they worked for a while but are already getting looser after just 500 acres or so.. I have seen the tapered spindle kits, they are high $$ but if I need all new stuff anyway are they the way to go? Any opinions? Thanks for the help.
