I fought this one 30 years ago. If your going to spend that much money, I'd put 24" or 28" front tires with and industrial king pin front end. Too small front tires for that much weight and hp is your problem. I know 4x4 would be better, however the large tires will make the tractor turn better under load. You look at most of the 100 hp + tractors sold since 1990, all 4x4 and 24" or larger front tires. Not only do they roll much nicer on rough surface, but they smooth the ride in the seat.
