Since you have a magneto a single pole switch is required. There is no connection with the battery. Make sure when you mount the switch that all the paint is off the mounting bracket and take the throttle plate loose and make sure bracket is grounded to the steering column (Clean of rust and paint. A single wire goes to the magneto and fastens at the place where there is a brass nut. Use the proper length machine screw to attach it. The switch should ground out the mag when pushed in and not ground when pulled out.
