Yes on two 6 volt in two boxes. There was two different box part numbers that went beside the seat with some differences mainly in the mounting if I remember correct. One 12 volt battery started being used on the SMD when battery started being located dirrectly below seat. Haven't saw a NOS battery box for one in several years, don't know of any exact box being reproduced.
