Yep you are right, my SMtA has clamps, not wedges. Not sure what I was thinking. They actually are not that hard to move even when left in one place a bit. I am not familiar with the wedge set up on IH, guess I will be because I think I am going to have to move the wheels to haul it. I Used to work with JD wedge wheels and assume they are similar. With the JD wedges you could tighten the bolt you mentioned and then hit the end of the axle with a really big hammer and they would sometimes come loose. Are these similar to the deere design? Thanks for the help. Also I was told this tractor would run about 100.5 HP, what would it run with turbo or does that depend on what else was done?
