Been there done that. It is tough. My plow is missing the colters also. First gear was about all mine wanted. That old sod you could hear it just ripping and tearing. Also made for some very rough disking. On the good side I had some bare spots in my yard and I put some rolls of that sod in there and they have done well. Much better the next time you plow it. Paul
