When my H was restored some time ago, they decided for whatever reason to not include a water temp gauge. Where that guage should be is the Amp meter. Now, the amp meter should be in the light control box, but this tractor doesn't have one... yet. I'm getting one soon from a junk yard, along with the correct starting switch and a host of other parts. But anyway...
I've heard people talk about running the tractor up to operating temp to clean out the water system with some flush, and clean out the oil system, etc etc. But how am I going to do that without the water temp gauge? Eventually I'm going to replace all 3 gauges with correct IHC gauges, and rewire the tractor. But first I just wanted to have it running and collect the parts I need.
Will it be ok to run it without water temp gauge, or should I rewire it now so I can put the water temp gauge in there?
