Nex check ing. timing for total advance at rated RPM . Next remove the hood and remove the thermostat and fill only to the top of the neck of the therostat housing with the top hose off and remove the fan belt so the water pump does not work . Do this with a cold engine . Start the engine and rev it up if it is a cracked head block or blowen head gskt. it will look like old faithful and shoot water out . Then ya know for sure . Next try higher test gas this will run cooler then req gas. Also check for a smashed exhaust pipe or pluged muffler.
