While cleaning and painting my H I removed the magneto drive coupling that the magneto impluse coupling lugs fit into. The drive coupling gear engages a gear driven off of the engine. I tried to reinstall the drive coupling gear into the same tooth position but I am not sure if I did. Question, If I did not reinstall the gears into their original position will this affect the engine timing? If this does affect the timing are there gear teeth marked so that I can re-reinstall the magneto drive coupling into the correct tooth position?
