My Farmall M has a "clunking noise" coming from inside the engine. It was low,low,low on oil for some time I am guessing and driven and worked hard. Thus the noise. Someone who works on tractors heard it and said that if something is not done with the engine it would eventually throw a rod. Lost his number to ask him again specifically what he thought it was. Any of you guys out there have an idea of what has happened? What would be a good checklist to properly diagnose it. And what if, needs to have done. Pictures, diagrams ect are welcomed. thanks
