Bought a Super c,original 6v positive ground,not charging.Previous owner rewired.I had the generator rebuilt and put on a new voltage regulator.When the tractor is not running and you pull the on/off switch to on it shows a discharge of around 2.With the switch off and you turn on the lights it shows no dishcharge on the ammeter,but lights are on.With tractor running (with or without lights on)it shows a dishcharge of 2 or 3.Previous owner wired wrong? or did I get a bad voltage regulator?I had to plow snow last night and by the time I was done (running lights) dead battery!!thanks in advance.
