got my motor back today from the machine shop. crank cut, heads all done, block tanked, decked and about ready to assemble. the shop does hi-perf race engines, blown alcohol, nitro and turbo drag motors. he set me up with a set of good guy head studs. studs came with nuts and washers. the super originally had washers down the center of the head under the rocker shaft. any problems running the washers on all the head bolts? i'll need to check for clearance, but i think the washers will be a little easier on the head than just the nuts run down on the castings. oh stud kit was 175.00, dealer wanted 285 for the ih ones.
