First you have to do some investigation and get more info. Is the wheel just rotating on the shaft? Or is the U joint still attached? Unless they changed something between the H and 300, there should be a U joint where the steering shaft changes angles under the hood. If all that is working as it should, then you will have to get into the upper part of the bolster to see if the worm gear is messing with the steering gear.
