It's almost impossible to say what someone else used. There were/are lots of loader manufacturers that made implements for handling loose hay.
Pretty safe bet to say it wasn't IH tho. Also, really doubt if it used the H's hydraulics either. Just not enough "umph" and they weren't 2-way. Most used a PTO driven pump, which worked fine with the exception that they weren't "live".
Did it look like any of these? First black/white picture is of an early Farmhand from the 40s. They didn't have the grapple head tho; that didn't start happening until sometime in the mid 50s.
Second picture is of my H with the smaller F-11 Farmhand, which I keep around for a spare loader to feed with.
There were thousands of the later Farmhand F-10s mounted on Hs in this area(third picture).
