I just thought of something else.I was trying to start a motor about a month ago,it would just click.I could not find anything.I turned the motor(460 Ford)thinking it was the starter stuck,nothing,pulled the starter,starter worked good hooked to battery charger.Looked at all the cables,nothing wrong.Put the starter back on,same thing.Put the charger on it for an hour same thing.Changed the battery and it fires up.Overnight the battery went bad I guess.It still had some fire in it but not 12 volts,maybe 9.If you do have a voltmeter thats nice to be able to see your volts at a glance at a gauge,just an idea,maybe try another battery if you have one.
