Farmall H restoration information request.

I am attempting to restore a 1940 Farmall "H" serial# FBH14285. It has a vertical mounted Delco distributor instead of a horizontal mounted IH distributor, is this rare as I have never seen another one like it? Second, the engine has good oil pressure when it is cold but when it warms up the oil pressure goes way down, what does this mean? Also the water pump is leaking, I have priced a rebuilt pump and they are rather expensive compared to other tractors, can I rebuild this water pump myself and are those parts redily available? I would greatly appreciate any reply to these questions, Thanks!!
