Thanks, two things my dad got firmly implanted into my brain via his boot and my butt was, check the oil before starting EVERY time and let the engine cool before shutting down. We only had 3 IH tractors on the farm, an 806, 1466 and a super C. This one just peaked my interest and will try to find something with accurate instructions. The IT manuals are good for overhauls but not much on everyday operation.
