A week or so ago I was going to use my 300u after a very cold spell and none of the hydraulics worked. Think I got it fixed tonight. My guess is the hydraulic fluid (a generic for hy-tran which I purchased from my Case/IH dealer), got so thick that when the pump tried to draw fluid it crushed the strainer in the hydraulic reservoir, as it couldn't get hydraulic fluid through the strainer.
Anyhow, straighened out the strainer and put in lighter hydraulic fluid and all works again. Just wanted to through out a word of caution as I haven't seen this problem discussed on here. Jimer
