I have an IH 460 Industrial w/3120 backhoe attachment. Top support bracket for swing mechanism has badly worn splines. Shaft also worn but not as bad. Local shops can't broach new plate & water jet shop says can't make plate to fit worn shaft. Can only program machine with standard spline engineering specs. Worldwide search by Kohmatsu dealer found one part in France - period. Any ideas? Am thinking about trying to convert to fixed rack and moving pinion from fixed pinion with moving rack. Other choice is fabricate to use 2 single action cylinders like Case does now. Both a lot of work. If not repaired, I will have a tractor/loader and a lot of scrap metal. Purchased for landscaping projects - 25% done. Still works but every swing adds more wear and failure imminent.
